초청의 글 매우 특별한 국제학술대회가 개최됩니다. 초청연사인 Rehm 박사는 카다나 토론토 대학의 교수이시며 세계보건기구(WHO)의 협력연구자문관으로 활동하고 계시는 “알코올과 질병(상해)의 연관성”분야에서 가장 권위 있는 연구자 중 한 분이십니다. 미국 알코올남용중독연구소(NIAAA)의 프로잭트 관리자인 Chou 박사는 “음주사고의 요인”을 분석하는 연구 분야에서 가장 탁월한 연구자 중 한분이십니다. 또한 베트남에서 가장 저명한 알코올연구자인 Nguyen 박사와 국내에서 가장 실력을 인정받은 여섯 분의 연구자들이 최근의 연구결과를 발표합니다. 알차고 의미 있는 국제학술대회에 오셔서 유익한 시간 갖으시기 바랍니다. 2008년 5월 한국알코올과학회 회장 천 성 수 Welcome Message The 16th annual meeting of Korean Society of Alcohol Science will be held in Seoul at June 5, 2008. You are cordially invited to attend this most precious academic international meeting of this year. For your information, lots of papers will be presented by many top scholars of Korean, Vietnamese, Canadian, and U.S. researchers at the meeting. Especially Dr. Jürgen T. Rehm, WHO collaborating consultant, is one of the leading researchers on “alcohol attributable-fractions of diseases and injuries.” Dr. Patricia Chou, program director of National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), is also one of dominant scientists on “alcohol and injuries.” We believe that this will offer many of us an excellent opportunity to get the scientific results of “alcohol and harms,” and acquainted with each other.
